Pets are allowed within our garden and lounge spaces on the proviso that they are well behaved and used to staying within a hotel environment.  We will accept pets by special request.

We have a map on our contact page showing the location of the house. We are located on Gallanach Road about a 3 minute drive past the main Caledonian MacBrayne ferry terminal entrance.

We are a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Oban. The quickest route is to walk through the main Caledonian MacBrayne ferry terminal which takes you directly to the centre of town. There are also several taxi companies in Oban; it is around 4-5 minute drive into the centre of town.

Check in time is from 3:00pm. In the event that your room is not ready upon an earlier arrival,  you are more than welcome to relax in our lounge with a coffee or refreshment.  You can park your car and explore town from as early as 10am on the day of arrival, and we are happy to hold your luggage at anytime. Check out time is 11am.

Yes there are a number of tour companies in Oban and a number of days out to explore on foot and in your car. You can find some on our Activities, Days Out & Golf page. We highly recommend pre-booking as Oban is extremely busy in the summer months.

Packed lunches are available if ordered in advance (preferably the night before no later than 9pm). Cost is £15 per person.

We regret that it is not possible for hot food purchased elsewhere to be consumed in guests bedrooms or public areas.

We are delighted to announce that 2026 sees us offer guests dining in house.  Our Supper Menu features the finest of fresh, seasonal produce locally sourced.  Menus are available to view on the main pages of our website.

We have an enviable selection of Malt Whisky, Champagnes, Wines, Spirits and Drinks most are locally or Scottish.  Our lounge bar offers stunning views across the sea to the hills of Mull and Morvern.  You can also relax in the garden with drinks when the weather allows.

The maximum in the majority of the rooms is 2 but we do offer two suites that can accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 children with 2 adults.

We offer breakfast daily 7.30am – 9.30am
Brunch is available at weekends if you wish from 10am – 12 noon – rooms are required to be vacated by no later than 11am if enjoying brunch later.

Yes we have a selection of breakfast choices covering vegan, gluten free and dairy free. Please provide details of any allergies at the time of booking.

Dungallan has gained a reputation for Afternoon tea.  Our classic offers a selection of savoury and sweet treats all baked in house.  Bookings are required.  Classic Afternoon Tea is offered at £29.50 per person
We offer coffees, teas and homemade scones daily throughout the day 10am – 4pm
Brunch is offered on a Saturday and Sunday 10am – 12 noon – reservations are required.

We operate for the majority of the year and offer special rates for the winter months.  It is always advisable to check with us.
